I started playing handball at the age of 8. My mother didn't let me go to the playground because it was too far, so I had no choice but to watch my mother play handball. When my mother married George Figueroa they both became my mentor.
My step dad would practice with me on the court while my mother was working this really improved my game but most of all my parents supported me and went to all of my tournaments they never missed one. I have played tournaments with both of my parents.

I'm on the girl's handball team at Boys and Girls High School as a team we are currently undefeated. Playing handball has been very exciting because I have met so many people and I have traveled all over the city playing handball. My goal is to become a top "A" player and take a tournament with both of my parents.
